Hello can somebody tell me what the average measurement for femur length is at 32 weeks? I have been told today baby is measuring behind at 55.4mm and slightly concerned. Please share any experiences as ftm and clueless but quite worried Blush

Do not worry, it is on the shorter side but not far off. Besides it may just be the angle wasn't perfect and that could steal a couple mm away. Relax and enjoy your pregnancy!

My babies was on the small side and I was worried about links to downs but it’s just the way she is proportioned in our case, was fine

Hello I have just had the same with my 2nd baby at 32 weeks. I have been booked in for an additional scan because it’s meant that baby had dipped on the growth chart but all indication from consultant seems to be that maybe the measurements were just slightly off as babies can get themselves into some funny positions and mean the measurements aren’t 100% accurate.
Did they book you in for additional scans or anything?
My first baby also had a smaller than average femur length throughout my pregnancy and she is
Absolutely fine, all seems to be in proportion now (though the whole family are on the shorter side!). I am sure it will all be fine but understand how worrying all these measurements and charts can be! xx
