Hi everyone,

Just looking for any advice about improving labour?

I have done a lot of research already and appreciate some of it is likely old wives tales but any advice of things you think really made it better for you would be appreciated Grin

Thank you

Have you looked at the positive birth company? I'm doing their digital course and it's so informative and reassuring id really recommend it

Honestly...accepting I didn't have a lot of control helped. I read everything, what could go wrong, what births others found great, and everything in between. I went with an idea of what I wanted, and forewarned with the knowledge and expectations about what may have to happen.

I was fortunate, I got a natural water birth with no pain relief needed both times and at no point did I feel panicked.

A certain fatalism about the fact you have to roll with with what's thrown at you will go a long way.

Good luck!

@FTM24 I'm with @MsMarvellous I wrote a birth plan for my first, it turned out nothing like I had planned, it helped with my next three deliveries to know that what was going to happen would just happened, try to get as much sleep as possible in the run up is my only advice
