35+ weeks struggles

Hello ladies!

Not sure there is any point to this post, other than to hear other moans / stories.

At just under 36 weeks, I'm feeling like I'm fit to burst. She's so so low, harsh back pains, unbelievably uncomfortable. And I know full well that these signs mean nothing - I could still go all the way to 42 weeks!

The thought of going another 6 weeks with this weight - ahh!!

Just want to hear struggles from other women in the same boat!!

Xx

I'm 35 weeks and miss being able to bend! Tying shoe laces is getting a bit tricky too... Have you got a bump support? I find mine helps hugely with back pain.

Ime you need to enjoy your last few weeks..
Imagine this scenario..
Week end away booked.
5 *hotel.
Tickets to a great comedian.
Dc all sorted at home.
Bags packed.
Car packed.
Decide to try for a last wee (bladder typical of 35 weeks pregnant.)
1 spot of blood.
1..
Just 1.
Due to blood group issue decide to swing by maternity for a check up at 8 am..
Deliver a 5-12 ds at 12.10 pm by emcs.
Ime not a bloody great scenario..
No bloody pun intended...
Angry
Enjoy those last few weeks ladies please...

I don't think I'll enjoy any of the next few weeks, there's nothing fun about being kicked repeatedly in the gut while you're trying to eat, sleep, work etc Grin. I'm looking forward to the arrival, everything in between is a means to an end Smile

Mentally you are prepared for change at 40-42 weeks. Ds was my last and I felt robbed of the prep time I mentally needed. Especially with a 6 year gap between dc.. Was quite hard to get my head around tbh... And dealing with a prem baby was a shocker!

@Thirdlifecrisis
I tired the pelvic belt and it helped a bit, but I've noticed the last week things have stepped up a lot in terms of uncomfortableness! I guess after a difficult pregnancy, I'm look forward to my own body back! Are you finding trying to sleep a nightmare?

@Santaiscovidfree
I think it's bittersweet, as whilst I'd love her to come early, I also think it then stops the tasks eg bulk cooking which I plan to do next week before I get too tired. How frustrating for you - sounds like you had more of a mini-moon planned that didn't happen! So little symptoms for you before you gave birth..!
