I am almost 8 weeks pregnant. I've had brown spotting weeks 4 - 6 so have been for 2 x early scans, 1 at 5.5 weeks where they picked up 1 area of bleed and another at 6.5 weeks where they picked up 2 areas of bleed. The spotting has resolved now but am expecting it to return based on the fact there are two bleed sites and they said it was a possibility. Looking at my notes from the sonographer, they refer to 2 x peri gestation sac bleeds at 18x13 and 15x14 (my sac was 24x19) but when looking this up all I can find is reference to hematomas? I was kind of hoping they weren't the same and my risk would be slight reduced as the midwife at the EPU really played it down. Any experiences?
