5 years ago with my first, we spent days in Mothercare testing out all the prams before we made the purchase. With no Mothercare (or Toys R Us), where is everyone buying their prams??

I got mine from John Lewis, but you can also get some bargain ones on Facebook buy and sell groups if you are looking to save some money.

I had personal shopping appointments with John Lewis and Mamas and Papas just before tier 4 happened. John Lewis was no-pressure and managed to guide me to the right pram. Mamas and Papas decided what pram they wanted us to buy and kept pushing that one. We're going to get ours from John Lewis when we're at the right time.

I went for an Independant business based in the Midlands called Babyplanet. They h
Ave 3 stores in the East Midlands with a huge range in store to try out - they do great personalised deals I found and I saved a good few hundred pounds I.e. my pram is £850 with all the major retailers but they gave ne it for £699. They gave a good website too.

Ive just bought one from
online4baby.

With it being (surprise) DC4, and our previous pram having lasted three previous babies and eventually thrown as it was falling apart, I didn’t want to spend stupid amounts. £1500 for some travel systems Shock

The one I bought was a Hauck brand and came with the chassis, car seat and carry cot. And rain cover actually. Very happy with it and it was £175.

So if you have money to burn there are loads of choices in where to buy, but if you are on a budget I would definitely recommend the above website.
