Bloated!

Hi, this is my first time pregnant so I’m freaking out about everything that’s going on in my body. I’m 4-5 weeks pregnant but I’m bloated 24/7 and I’ve been like this for about 2 weeks. Is this normal to be so bloated?

Hi lovely, I'm just over 4 weeks and I have the same problem! I spoke to the doctors about it a couple days ago and they said it's 100% normal x

i look like ive eaten a rugby ball! just over 6 weeks and really bloated! even when i wake up in morning its just huge! so glad am working from home - sit there with jogging bottoms on with a nice wide waist band!
have IBS anyway so sometimes get variable amounts of bloating but this is defo not food related, its constant!

Ah I’m glad I’m not the only one then, thanks ladies! It’s just so uncomfortable!! Definitely can’t wear jeans at the moment, my stomach looks like I’m 8 months pregnant already haha 😂

14 weeks with my 2nd at the moment and the bloating is finally letting up! Was at its worst around 9-12 weeks, I looked like I was 30 weeks pregnant! Was so uncomfortable, especially at night whilst trying to sleep, absolutely no position was comfortable. Unfortunately I didn't find anything that helped at the time but it does eventually get better! Congratulations on your pregnancy.

I was so bloated at the beginning! Ginger tea and a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water every day helped and eased the bloatness (gross but it works!).

10mins yoga that focusses on the abdomen everyday help with giving me instant relieve.

Totally normal. I'm 7 weeks with DC3 and look the same size as I did at 6 months with DC2! It settles down a bit after 12 weeks, peppermint tea helps me in the evenings. It does get worse throughout the day.
