Cough in 1st trimester

I’m around 6/7 weeks pregnant and have a decent cough. This probably sounds ridiculous - but very much wanted 🌈 - can coughing lots cause any harm? I know it is tucked up nice and deep but it’s a very persistent dry cough.

Covid test was negative (was great fun with my current gag reflex!) 💪

No it can't, you cough with your diaphragm and lungs obviously, baby is only millimeters and is in your pelvis.
