Pram for small car

Reeva1988 · 13/01/2021 11:28

Hi all,

I have a Fiat 500 and I’m not planning on changing my car when baby comes.

Can anyone advise of prams where the wheels fold down and fit into the boot of a flat 500?

Thank you

babyzen yoyo. Folds up tiny and is suitable from birth with the newborn bassinet attachment. You can also attach a car seat to it with the right adapters

Second the YoYo!
Alternatively the Cybex Easy Twist

Go for a buggy that reclines to a flat position. Babies shouldn't be kept in car seats for long periods anyway and this gets you in good habits of taking them out, bit annoying at 1st as more time consuming.

We had to have a double buggy for our twins as we have a 7 seater and none of the big prams would fit.
You need to either measure your boot space or look online for dimensions and compare the prams/buggies available for ones that may fit. I imagine you'll be fairly limited with a smaller car.

Cosatto Giggle. If you use the car seat bit best leave it in the car....
I was picked up from hospital and we had to post the seat in via the boot!!
*ds may or may not have been in the seat at the time...
Blush
Wheels come off the pram frame to make it fit in the boot!

I’m sure the cosatto fb page have posted about their prams fitting in the boot of small cars during the last few days

Thanks all. I think the cosatto’s are a little bright for me . Ive seen online that some of the icandy prams are small folding and suitable for my car . Has anyone had an icandy??

babyzen yo-yo a thousand percent. I have had it for my baby from a newborn and it's great , very easy to fold one handed and fits anywhere

I’ve brought the mama and papas occarro. It does look big but it fits into the boot of my Ford ka. That’s without the bassinet, but the actual seat can be used from birth so I plan to use that if I need to drive places and the bassinet got local walks or I could always put the bassinet on the one of the seats for the few months it will be in use.

I think the occarro is bigger then m&ps other models so they might be easier to get in your boot.

We have an I candy peach and doubt you would get it in a small car. We had a juke and had to take the wheels off to get it in the boot now have a suzuki vitara and it fits in.
The other models maybe different thou

I have the mammas and Pappas xt flip (or something similar) I actually googled..' prams that fit in XXXX' my car and it came up with a website that had worked this out for me. Mine fits perfectly in to my small car.

I have a yo-yo and so happy with my choice. I have a big car and a decent size home entrance but it's amazing for everything whether travelling or going through tiny shop isles, it's so convenient and so light compared to space ships like Oysters, Bugaboo and I candy where you need the whole world to move out of their way for you.
