Hi Ladies
Can anyone help me please? I am having this kind of watery discharge on and off. Specially when I am active or sitting and standing up. Is this normal discharge or some I have to mention to doctor? I had a scan on 8th Jan and cervix was closed and everything looked fine.

I had something similar a few times weeks ago and haven't had anything since. I hope it's normal as everything seems normal. I have my 20-week scan in less than a week.

Absolutely 100% normal I've had it the entire way through 2 pregnancies. Annoying but normal

Totally normal. You get way more discharge when pregnant, I’ve noticed so much more. Sometimes I feel like I’ve wet myself!

I had something that looked like like this for a few days at about 26/27 weeks. Spoke to MW and they wanted to check it wasn't amniotic fluid just to be on the safe side as it was pretty consistent, completely clear and didn't smell of urine. I went to the hospital and they did a quick internal swab and it was fine. As I've had a lot of UTIs including in early PG I'm at higher risk of getting a tear and small leak of amniotic fluid (which can lead to infection or premature labour) so glad I checked or it would've carried on worrying me.

Thank you so much ladies for putting my mind at ease. I have my 20 weeks scan on 25th January so I will mention this the consultant. I had taken an internal swab on 23rd December which was showing little bit of yeast infection and doctor suggested just use the pessary if you have any itchiness or other symptoms. But I don't have any symptoms so I didn't take it. I have read somewhere about amniotic fluid leaking which made me bit nervous and worried. But I think it's normal discharge but it's annoying as I can feel the discharge coming out from my vagina like a leak. I have bought those home ph test strips just to see the alkaline level as heard amniotic fluid is more alkaline and the result was a normal ph reading.
