Growth/Position Scan!?

Could someone please give me some advice.

I’ve recently moved house, as a result I’ve also had to change midwives.

The new midwives are so dismissive and rush me through all of my appointments.

I’m currently 37 weeks and don’t believe my baby is engaged.

I am based in Wales and wondered what the protocol would be if my baby is not engaged at this point.

I don’t want to be dismissed and rushed out of my appointment if I should be demanding a position scan (if that’s even a thing).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

There is no protocol for this. We wouldn't do anything as it is within normal range.
I would call your midwives to discuss this for reassurance. You can ring your community midwives or hospital, they will put your mind at rest.

I’m 38 weeks and baby isn’t engaged. Some people’s babies don’t engage until they’re in labour, don’t worry about it.
