@CherryO88 hi, sorry for the silence! I took a little break from thinking too much about TTC just to allow some recovery time. Doing ok thank you. Slowly coming off pred and tbh I’ve found it harder than I thought I would. I find each decrease in pred makes me very exhausted and actually hits my mood too. It passes after a few days but it’s not nice at all. Wondering if anyone else experienced this? I’m down to 5micrograms now and will be taking this last drop very slowly.

I am so sorry to hear you are going through all this! The stress levels must be absolutely off the scales. What is the latest with it all? I’m not sure if I’ve read all of your posts. Honestly, it’s the toughest thing I think I’ve ever been through. The highs, the hope and the absolutely crushing heartache. Have you had any reassurance since your last post? Xx

@VenusStarr hope you are doing okay! Sorry i haven't been on the thread for a while, been a busy time, was down to CRP for my intralipids last Friday, transfer is on Monday....I am sick with nerves. Havent really talked to anyone about it and I think my family are too afraid to bring up the subject! Thats the problem with having so many losses.....sort of takes all the excitement away and now I'm just really scared I'm reaching the end of the road. At 42 I wouldnt even consider using my own eggs again. I guess we will see what happens! I've started thinking about maybe trying donor eggs if it doesn't work but would need to see how the finances go!

How is everyone else doing? Xxx

@Everhopeful35 and everyone else hiiiiii. I realise this post is a bit old but I came across is after
I just had my second failed fet at argc but 16th failed cycle in total. Im still working my way through reading it all but managed to get some helpful info. We did ivig this time and intralipids in December. I think they will suggest humira next time so I saw that you mentioned buying humira for £250!! Can you please share where it was from as everywhere I have enquired is almost quoting £1000!!!!!! We are on our last embryo now and have no more money to afford a fresh cycle and with immunes it is so expensive I'm even more stressed out. I hope everyone else has been getting their bfp and staying strong x

Hi all, I can see many of you here with dr. Shehata, I was wondering how exactly pregnancy monitoring with him works. Do you contact him after positive test and then you start the therapy? I am with a separate IVF clinic but they don’t do pregnancy monitoring. They also don’t want to put me on Intralipids which I am a bit concerned about.
how much are consultations with dr.S and does he do a scan each time? Did you have to retest your NK cells and other tests?
I am currently on Prednisolone, Cyclogest, Enoxaparin, Levotyroxine and Cabergoline.
would be great to hear the success stories of those who aleready had their babies and what helped actually after trying different things. I had one failed embryo transfer and one missed miscarriage so far :( currently under stimulation but I have a polyp that has to be removed before we transfer the next embryo (hoping for some). Thanks for your support!
