Amonitic fluid level question

I had a growth scan at 32 weeks for reassurance after some pretty crappy care

And baby was measuring 90th percentile which they where not concerned about as this what my last baby measured etc

However i noticed fluid level when she measured a pool of it was 5.3cm and she said oh that is lovely perfect

She's put on scan notes baby has correct amount of fluid around it but from reading it seems 5.3 is low ?

Or am i getting it all wrong is 5.3 just one quadrant she has measured and that's why its no concern ?

Would ask a midwife but no1 ever gets back to me and next appointmnt is 10 days away...

Normal. Varies whether amniotic fluid is reported as an amniotic fluid index (AFI) - where they measure four quadrants and add together - in which case 5-25 is considered normal. Sounds like you’ve had a deepest vertical pocket (DVP) measurement which is actually the better test, and where >2 is normal.
