9+3 and allergic to vegetables

Just over 9 weeks and the very thought of vegetables has been making me sick :/

I can still eat fruit and a few other healthy things but I haven't found a way to eat any vegetables. Hopefully it'll calm down soon...this is the first time I've had this in pregnancy. Not sure if I should just roll with it or try and force myself.

All veg in all forms? So raw? Cooked? Blended? Disguised in sauce? Roasted? Boiled? Steamed? Stir fried? Wilted?

The smell of veg- raw or cooked turns my stomach. Infact the cooking smell of them has made me vomit on several occasions. I tried to force myself to eat them and made myself sick.... I’m really working on the basis that I eat what I can when I can, eating something is better than eating nothing and I’m hoping as the pregnancy progresses (touch wood) that my taste will become more normal and I can focus on healthy eating. I’m nearly 10 weeks- if you have a look on the august thread a lot of us are saying we can only stomach beige food!

Like you I’m okay with fruit so trying to eat as much of that as I can.

Hope you are able to find something to eat and normal appetite resumes!

Thanks!

I did a bit of supermarket wandering and discovered I can handle raw cucumber, celery, radishes and carrots - think it's only cooked green veg I can't stand the thought of.

Not for too much longer hopefully!

I couldn’t stomach a single vegetable throughout pregnancy. The smell of anything would make me be sick.
My baby arrived perfectly healthy and 9lb 8oz :) try not to worry, you can get nutrients in other forms x
