I'm currently lying in bed on my side & had a feeling of a burning sensation in my vagina / cervix
Thought it was just child moving around or baring down

I heard & felt this very strange pop that caused me to shout out loud
I've stood up , ngl expecting water to be coming outta me , but nothing

Does anyone have any clue what it was ?

I mean, it SOUNDS like your waters. But with no actual fluid...I dunno. Phone triage?

glowingtwig · 09/01/2021 22:19

A big pop was how it sounded and felt when my waters went OP. I'd call the number they've given you so they can check you out.

Scaredykittycat · 09/01/2021 22:22

I heard and felt my waters go and had a fish of fluid. It sounded like a pop and felt like an elastic band flicking inside. Call triage.

Scaredykittycat · 09/01/2021 22:22

Gush, not fluid.

Scaredykittycat · 09/01/2021 22:22

Fish! Ffs.

You need to get checked.
I would say your amniotic sac has popped ...
this happened to me but little fluid initially as midwife said baby lay over cervix like a little plug !
As she moved a little a I would get a tiny trickle ..
Good luck

sherrystrull · 09/01/2021 22:27

I agree with the previous poster. You need to go and checked

2Cats3Kids · 09/01/2021 23:14

Second PPs. Go in. This was exactly what it felt like when my waters went with #1... a large pop sound and a feeling like an elastic band snapping inside. It may be that baby's head is blocking your cervix and preventing the fluids from escaping, or that it will be more like a slow puncture/leak than a gush. You definitely need to be seen in triage.

Echoing pp's here. When my waters went with DD1 I heard them pop at the same time I felt it. Get yourself checked out or at least ring your maternity unit.

Pieceofpurplesky · 09/01/2021 23:37

Mine popped and no gush as a PP said. I was also 35 weeks. Get it checked out - I was in Labour. He's 17 next month
