Previous ectopics and pregnant again

Hi everyone,

Just under a week ago I found out im pregnant again (5 wks tomorrow) which is amazing but im so so worried I'm going to have another ectopic. I only have 1 tube as the right tube was removed in 1st ectopic, but I had another ectopic in my remaining tube last year , managed through methotrexate.
Has anyone had a successful pregnancy through a damaged tube?
I started off so bloated and nauseous but that's subsided now but my boobs are still very tender. I've had twinges where my tube is but I dont know if this normal and the anxiety is really affecting me!

I had an ectopic in April and was treated with methotrexate. I found out I was pregnant last month and had twinges at my ectopic site so they brought me in for a scan at 5+2, all was well and I’m 9+1 now ☺️ Had another scan since, baby is progressing and has a lovely heartbeat.

Pregnancy after ectopic is a total minefield and you can’t really enjoy it as every twinge sets your mind off crazy. Speak to your EPU to get an early scan to confirm everything is in the right place, even if they just see a sac ☺️

Thanks for your reply 😊 you're so right about it being a minefield. I've been in today to have hcg blood test as I've got some shoulder pain. Feeling very disheartened at the moment.

Thank you, best of luck to you too! Honestly I wonder how much of it is in our heads as once I had the scan to check location my twinges/pains calmed right down 🤨 hope that’s the case for you too!

Just thought I'd let you know I asked for an early like you suggested and they saw the sac with a little yolk sac inside. No fetal pole yet but it's still so early. So very relieved! Thank you for replying to my post and I hope you have a healthy pregnancy! 😊
