Late positive tests

Hi there!

I've recently found out I am pregnant and have a scan on Wednesday to determine how far along I am as I have PCOS so it's not as easy to figure out.

I usually go months without getting a period but in October I had a short one so jumped at the chance to conceive during that cycle.

However, on the 12th of December I was still getting negative pregnancy tests and I didn't take the next one until December 23rd which was my first BFP.

On the 8th of October I received a positive OVULATION test so my question is, would I work out my dates from my period or do you think I ovulated twice?

I usually have super long cycles (as in over 100 days.)

I'm trying to figure out if I'm 12 weeks or 6.

Thoughts? Has anyone else had this?

Congratulations on the pregnancy hope everything goes well & It is possible to get late positive test as a friend I know who was pregnant the same time as me took couple test and they all came back negative but then finally she took a finally one and it was positive.

I guess you'll have to just see what the scan shows if baby is showing to dates or is above dates that's the only way to really confirm
