Faint Positives or Evap Lines?! Help!!

I am 5 days late for my period.
I took one of these tests yesterday afternoon, and another 1st thing this morning.
Both were read within 5 - 10 mins of taking them and I am driving myself mad wondering if they are faint positives, playing tricks on my mind or evaporation lines?!

I am going to buy a digital test to take on Sunday morning, which will then be a whole week late for my period.

Any advice or thoughts on this would be great!
I have also never used these dip tests before so unsure how reliable they are?!

This is what my first positive looked like, I got a 1-2 weeks on a digital about 10 mins later also

I already have an 18 month old and wasn't planning on getting pregnant so soon!

Yeah they were green instead of blue but otherwise the same cheapy dip ones

My first test looked like that too. It was our second round of IVF and at first we thought it was negative, but then the very faint line appeared and gave us a glimmer of hope. We did a more expensive test the next day, which looked like a proper positive and now have 8-year-old DS. Congratulations!

@Chocolatestain That's amazing, I bet it was amazing to see that positive result for you
I will definitely be trying a more expensive test, I have never used these dip sticks before and they were SO cheap it's a bit concerning! 79p for 3!!

My first positive also looked just like this 🤞🤞☺️

@HungryHippo20 Ahh amazing! I have been driving myself mad.. panic at first and then dissapointment if these are in fact evap lines.. I am so impatient and had to ask other ladies for their thoughts!! xx

I was impatient and done another test (in the middle of the night as needed the toilet) and this is the result fairly quickly.
Should I be concerned that after almost 48 hours from my other tests, the line is still weak??
I have been having some light cramping so I am a bit worried but unsure if that is normal at this stage if I am fairly early xx

I wouldn't call that weak! Looks pretty strong to me for middle of the night ☺️

I also meant to say I had cramps like AF coming and this lasted a few weeks (I might have said this in previous post) so I really don't think you've anything to worry about 🥰

Hi Folks, can I please have your opinion. Wish I hadn't used a blue dye test now. This was outwith the 10 mins but looks quite blue to me ... would you say it is positive?

Mine was very very feint about 15mins after, I picked it up to bin it when I noticed. It was still the same for many days later. I eventually bought a digital one which confirmed about. She's sitting playing with toys infront of me now lol Congratulations!

Do you think it could be an evap though as past the 10 minute time? 🤔
Total doubting it can be positive but would live to believe it is!

@ChattyMum86 It looks like a positive to me, as it has the blue tinge.
If you take a look at my first post with my very faint positives, they were barely visible!
I think it's so easy to believe they are evap lines, as it's such a shock to see a positive even when you are trying!
Do you have another test to do in the morning? xx

@ChattyMum86 If u get more like this then unlikely to be evaluated line. All of mine were like that and they were so so so feint u cld hardly see it and it was always way after the time. My dh wldnt believe me until I got a digital about 6/7 days later.

@AGBSILVERHILL no test for tomorrow, I may pop out and get a first response when hubby gets home.
Still convinced it's an evap line as I had a negative yesterday on the same test but we shall see! 🙏🏼
