Conception date?

Hey everyone wondering if anyone has any experience with this, or can help me figure out how far along I am. My last proper period was the 10th of November and I also had spotting for a few days in early December which I took as a period. Anyways today I got an extremely dark positive test but I took a test less than a week ago which was negative. I just think this is strange as I don't know if my last "period" was a proper one or implantation bleeding because the test seems too dark to imply I only conceived like 3 weeks ago?

It can be really hard to tell what's a proper period and what's early spotting sometimes. Especially if you have light periods anyway.
I'd recommend getting a digital test with the weeks indicator. It might give you a bit more of a window!

If you got a negative a week ago I would think the December spotting could well have been a period. My last period was Nov 28 and I’ve got very dark tests and have been testing positive since Xmas eve (5w5d). So likely you conceived not long before Xmas, roughly. Tests are usually positive about 2 weeks after unprotected sex.
