Braxton hicks slightly painful ?

I'm 34+6 weeks & have had braxton hicks regularly for around 5/6 weeks & feel comfortable in saying there definitely braxton hicks

Today - I've had braxton hicks with no pattern per say but they have become uncomfortable borderline slightly painful
Enough for me to have to change position to try to relieve the pain

Along side the slight pain I'm experiencing a little bit cramp , feeling like period pains
I also have a full ache in my lower back , nothing that a hot bath didn't ease.

Is this all normal ?
I'd rather not google it cos you get conflicting theories & answers

TIA ☺️

Unless it ramped up and there became a regular pattern I wouldn’t worry personally. Real contractions you can’t really speak when you are having one and it feels a bit like your insides are being turned inside out. Quite different to a braxton hicks. If there’s nothing else going on to cause concern (like leaking or reduced movements etc) I wouldn’t worry.

@TooManyDinosaurs1 thank you for the reply ☺️

They've eased slightly now so nothing to worry about. I'm just a ball of anxiety now I'm at the final stage

Keep an eye on it. I thought I was having Braxton hicks. They were painful and I only really suffered in the evening. Four days later I had a baby. I was only 34 weeks!

I’ve suffered with painful braxton hicks through all 3 of my pregnancies. Mentioned it to mw with 2nd and she pretty much called me a liar saying they couldn’t have been painful.
I’ve always suffered really painful period cramps though so maybe that contributes?
I’d defo keep an eye on it though
