PGP physio bump band

I'm currently 33+4 and being induced at 37 weeks, however I've had awful PGP and have been referred to physio by my midwife.

I went to see them earlier and she gave me crutches for around the house and a band, I have a band already but the one she's given me is just a massive tubigrip sort of thing. Is this normal? It's comfortable enough but just worried it's tight for this late stage of pregnancy, but I guess they know best right??

The tube grip goes around your pelvis, not the bump, as such...

She showed me how to put it on, so under bust all the way over bump then fold back up over bump again

Mine went from top knicker line, all the way up, over my bump to bra line then back down again. You can get some girdle-looking contraptions that sit under your bump, I bought some online , Amazon I believe. If I'm honest, I didn't find anything that actually helped my pain.

Main advice from me - rest as much as you can, don't move things with one foot , keep your legs together as much as possible (don't sit crossed legged etc), do the pensioner shuffle to get up and down stairs

Oh apologies - the tube grip one I was given by the 'physio' literally was four inches wide and went round my pelvis only.
