We've just told our boys as they were getting worried with me being so tired and sick , I never expected them to be so excited - they were just beside themselves. They've just helped me bake, now one is hoovering and the other tidying up. I've tried to point out in a not too worrying way that we have to wait and see what happens and how the baby grows over the next few weeks but they are already making plans. Now they can't wait to tell Grandma when she arrives today!!I took a photo of them just after I told them, I've put it on my profile so you can see their smiles.

Oh, that has so made my day, thank you and congratulations!!

My eldest would love another baby and was great when the 2 youngest were born.

Congrats Deb! That is so lovely! My boys were just the same (7 & 4.5) when I told them I was expecting another. They kept checking how the baby was growing and loved feeling the first kicks - now they are just impatient to meet their new sibling!

what proud big brothers they will be !

i have fond memories of telling DS I was pregnant, he was worried too as i had been so sick, and after throwing up in the front garden , whilst he was getting in the car, i thought i should tell him . he was so pleased and said, 'your dream has come true mummy !"

bless

Aww, that's lovely - congratulations. My neice and nephew were a bit like that when I told them (DS is a bit small yet to understand), and I bought them this book What's inside your tummy Mummy which has been great at helping to explain month by month, particularly to my 6 yo neice.
