One positive test followed by negative!

Hi all. PLLEASE dont judge.
I had a baby 4 months ago via emergency section. I bled around 4 weeks ago really heavy.
I took a pregnancy test 4 days ago due to me being extremely tired and feeling sick, it came back positive (faint). I then got myself extremely worked up and was rooting along the option for abortion as my body hasn't recovered and I'm a type 1 diabetic. I then took 2 pregnancy test yesterday and it came back negative? .. I'm really confused. I'm not bleeding just having slight cramps. I really dont know what's going on in still feeling tired and sick. I'm booked in tomorrow with the nurse but now in worrying myself incase they think I'm wasting there time if a pregnancy test has come back negative after the positive?

What brand was the positive? It was probably an evaporation line if it was very faint and the subsequent tests were the same brand and negative

Were all tests taken with FMU? Did you take a picture of the test with the second line?

Echo the above. Also, was it the same type of pregnancy test for the first and second test?

Hi. The first was just a poundhsop window test that gave me the positive. Then the second was again pound shop but just the strip one. How do I attach a picture?

If I was in your situation I would definitely go and get a first response 6 days early test. Most sensitive ( I find they show 4/5 days earlier than the cheap strips) so should give you a pretty accurate answer.

Yes unfortunately I only created account not long ago. I have tried uploading several pics but no joy. The tiny pic thing says it's been removed.

I will re test later today but I'm dreading it. Really cant understand why I'm feeling so 'pregnant'.

To add aswell, the test I recieved the 'faint' on it had the purple/pink dye in it and it came up within 1 minute.

I had this! I panicked and took 5/6 pregnancy tests and turns out I wasn’t pregnant. It was a false positive and in my situation I was very happy. I didn’t want such a close age gap. Definitely get a reliable brand / pay a bit more to do another test then repeat in a week just to be sure

In the nicest way I hope that's what I've had a false positive. My body just ain't ready for another tenant
