i went to my friends yesterday and she was burning basil oil, it absoplutly stunk so i blew it out fairly quickly after arriving. ive looked it up on net and apparently its not safe during pregnancy. im 18 weeks and worrying about it now. ive felt baby move today but not quite as much as normal. do you think i should ring midwife and get it checked out or because the oil was only burning for about 5 mins do you think its ok and im just being a bit parinoid? thanks

i dont know, but if you are worried, ring. they are there to reassure you and you will quickly feel better, im sure.

its more of an issue if it is absorbed into your skin, however, no harm in calling your mw if youre worried. but im sure you'll be fine!
