Mucus plug or discharge?

Hello everyone.

I'm currently 32+1 with a little girl.
I've been having alot of discharge for the past week. It's a creamy white in colour and quite thick. On tissue it's quite yellow. It's not thrush, I've had that before and not itchy or anything. I've never had too much discharge before so not sure if it's just that or my plug. I'm new here so not sure how to upload a pic.
I've also been having strong braxton hicks and I think she's dropped. My previous was born at 34 weeks and didn't experience losing my plug with him. I have my consultant appointment tomorrow anyway I just wanted some thoughts.

Thanks girls 😊

@Sophster2013
I'm 34 weeks and you've got exactly the discharge I have. Plug would have a different texture, be stringy etc. Sound normal to me!

I'm 31 weeks and experiencing same
Discharge you describe so I feel reassured!

I lost my plug early - it’s like firm jelly. You’ll know it if you saw it! :)

Yes the plug is like a very substantial blob I'd say. I was shocked when mine fell out of me. I was doing a pee and it just fell out of me and was so heavy disappeared straight down the pipe. I was so disappointed not to get a good look at it lol.

Just so you know if you have thrush higher up your vagina it might not necessarily be itchy

Hey ladies

Thank you for your replies. I thought it probably was discharge but just wanted some other experiences.
Thank you again!
