JKA Antibodies

I am 11weeks pregnant with my 2nd pregnancy. I have been informed I have JKA antibodies which is really rare. My husband and I have been asked to do a blood test and are being referred to fetal medicine to investigate. So far I have been told that it can cause complications if I require a blood transfusion and baby can become anaemic during pregnany or after which they can treat during the pregnancy or the baby may need a transfusion when they are born. So far the midwife has said there is nothing for us to worry about I will just need to be closely monitored. Has anyone had any experience of this?

Hiya what happened with your little one in the end? My baby needed 4 blood transfusions in the womb and has had 4 since being born but they've tested for anti bodies and all normal so we don't know what's causing her to keep getting aneamic x
