Anyone changed jobs while pregnant (first trimester)?

In really not enjoying my job and I don’t feel supported there. I’m trying to stay focused to get through the months but I’m worried I can’t do it. My mental health is struggling but I feel bad to apply for a company pregnant and not be up front with them!

Can't answer your question, but starting somewhere new now that you're pregnant could affect your maternity pay so that's something to bear in mind!

I moved jobs while TTC, but not pregnant. Assuming you're in the UK, you'll go from whatever your work maternity pay is, to possibly getting maternity allowance if you are eligible. It's 39 weeks at SMP rate then the rest unpaid, so less than £6k for a year.

How far along are you? Are there any internal jobs you could consider to take some of the mental health pressure off? Employers can't take it into consideration when offering jobs but I would tell them as it would make you seem less trustworthy to not mention it beforehand

Hey I also am pretty miserable at my job, unfortunately I started it at around 1 week pregnant without realising and now won't be getting maternity pay.

If you want to keep your mat pay, my advice would be to stick it out and either get signed off sick with stress during pregnancy (which I have done for the past month) and perhaps to work out the earliest date you could go on maternity leave. If I take all of my holiday and then go on leave on the first day I can I will be off for 4 months before my due date which is really tempting some days!
