When I lay on my stomach I can feel what feels like fluttering in my belly. I'm only 10 weeks 3 days from lmp.
Saying this out loud I feel stupid but am I feeling baby?? Surely not!!!!

I felt fluttering very early and I'm a first time mum. Well before 12 weeks. It felt like bubbles popping or swishing. Chances are, if you haven't felt it before, it's baby!!!!
So exciting!

If you google it various places say its not baby your feeling but i completely disagree. I was sure i felt baby around 11 weeks and no one can change my mind lol!

If this is your first pregnancy, the uterus still sits behind your pelvic bone until about week 12, so I'd say it's unlikely to be baby movement in your belly. It may be gas, moving through your intestines, that maybe you can feel more clearly when lying on your tummy. Baby is so small at 10 weeks, so I'd be doubtful that it is movement you can feel and I dont think it'd be something you felt regularly at this stage as they can change position so easily. You probably won't know until you're later on and definitely can feel baby and be able to compare. I think it's a perfectly reasonable question to ask though 😊 so don't feel silly.
