Early miscarriage

Hi all,

Just hoping to have some hope and happy thoughts on here.

I've had brown spotting the last two days which I didn't think was anything. Doctor wouldn't see me anyway. But I did ring.

Then last night I started bleeding red quite heavily enough to go on a pad.

Pretty sure I'm having a early loss. I'm 5 weeks exactly.

Feeling so lost and upset and worrying how I am going to cope when and if I do get pregnant again. I feel I'll be even more anxious next time.

Xx

Sorry you're going through this.
This is exactly what happened with my first miscarriage.
Hope you're doing okay

Really sorry you're going through this and sending positive thoughts that it's not bad news.

I don't think there's much anyone can do when it's this early, but it might be worth another call to your early pregnancy team to say the bleeding has got worse and is now red and more substantial? They might be able to scan (but not sure with new lockdown regulations - think they're pretty strict and take a 'wait & see' approach..)

Have had 2 MC, the first one was spotting for around 2 weeks that eventually became a MC, the second was very sudden and abrupt and was all over in a few days... both were around the 6 week mark so physically it wasn't much worse than a very heavy period, but emotionally it's pretty awful.

The big signal I've found is if you start to pass clots/tissue rather than just blood - there seem to be some women that experience bleeding in early pregnancy and then go on to have a healthy baby so very much hoping this might be the case for you, and that the bleeding stops soon Flowers

@SnooperTrooper12345 thank you, did you have another successful pregnancy afterwards?

I fell pregnant 5 months after and now have a 3 year old and currently 28 weeks pregnant with number 2 ❤️

@Wiggleinherwalk Thank you. I am having some clots so I am expecting the worse. Sorry to hear about your loses. It's terrible how common it is.
