Headaches- second trimester

Has anyone suffered with headaches in their second trimster?

I've been suffering with daily head aches since I was 14 weeks and am now 16.....

I've seen it's pretty normal during this time because of higher hormone levels but just wanted to be reassured and see if anyone can advise when theirs stopped?

Hi. If you've been suffering daily, I would contact your midwife to get your blood pressure checked as it can be a sign of pre eclampsia

I get them really regularly, often daily and then a few blissful days off in between. Nothing seems to touch them - paracetamol, peppermint oil, water BUT I have some relief when I blow my nose. It seems pregnant women get more nosebleeds and I think mine might have blocked my sinuses causing pressure (completely self diagnosed here 🤣.)

Midwife checked my BP and all fine so probably hormones. Give her a call if you are worried :) xxx

I had headaches almost daily from 6 weeks until around 20 weeks (I’m now 23wk)
They were quite severe and I’d usually wake up in the morning with a full blown headache.
Nothing seemed to help. Thankfully they aren’t so bad now, I’m able to manage them at least and also not every day so I’m getting a break.

BP is normal so looks like I’m just randomly suffering like you guys! Hoping it eases off as in the next couple of weeks as it’s just making me miserable! Thank you xx

Yeah I have this daily. I can’t count the amount of cooling forehead strips I’ve gone through the past few weeks.

Omg OP im was with you, headaches has been my main pregnancy symptom in both my pregnancies and they are awful i feel for you. Im over 22 weeks now and thankfully they have eased! Good luck
