transverse baby

I'm 30 weeks and baby is lying side to side. Has anyone else had this. Problem is I'm on the loo all the time and the pain in my side is really bad.

trying all things to get her to turn but she won't move.

Just wondering if anyone else is going through the same

Only advice I've heard is to try sitting backwards on your chair,leaning on the back and wearing cycling shorts:0 FWIW my LO has been doing the transverse thing from time to time , but having spd I have a support belt and tubigrip holding me together and I've found that it does discourage all that nonsense so maybe the cycling shorts would work!

hi kitty, i was transverse at 31 weeks, at last check up (34 weeks) baby is now breech, MW's don't seem concerned as they reckon there's still loads of time to turn...
Sorry you're in pain though, hopefully someone will come on with more helpful advice.

My was tranverse but he did turn , sorry cant remember when he did turn. But I do remember really painful hips because he was transverse and having to wear support belt, so lots of sympathy. I hope she turns,but think you have a few weeks left.
Ps when mine did turn because he was so big and he did what felt like a somersault, it really wasnt pleasant and thought I was going to be sick, sorry just a warning

MY DD1 was breech and therefor eelective c section although not till 39+4 in the vain hope she'd turn

had scan with dd2 at 36weeks and she was transverse so another elective section although this time at 38+3 as had bleeding on and of from 35 weeks

I remember being so uncomfortable and moaning alot (had her 5th jan so was very miserable and moody last xmas!!
