Hi,

2nd baby but have a history of MC.

I’m 5+2 today. From 4 weeks up until yesterday I had insatiable hunger, heartburn and headaches along with sore nipples/boobs. Today I’m not so hungry, no heartburn, slight headache and slightly sore nipples. So naturally I’m panicking about MC. It’s too early to book any sort of reassurance scan, and in all honesty if there is a problem I can’t do anything about it to change anything. Think I’m just looking for hope that you can have very obvious symptoms that fade a bit and everything still be okay?

No bleeding or pain or anything.

Still a chance? :/

My symptoms (and lack of sometimes) were all over the place in the first trimester. Some days I felt absolutely normal, other days I felt nauseous and didn’t eat. One day my boobs were agony, next day they felt 100% normal. From 9 weeks ish, my symptoms pretty much disappeared and I had convinced myself something was wrong. I’m almost 18 weeks now and still worry, I think that just comes as part and parcel of motherhood. I know it’s harder than it sounds to do, but try not to over analyse your symptoms, or lack of symptoms. Women who miscarry can have all the symptoms under the sun, or also none at all. It really isn’t an indication of anything at all. Congratulations to you Flowers x

Many (most?) people done get anything much more than pms symptoms until at least 6 weeks.

Try to ignore it and take each day as it comes. This is going to be a LONG pregnancy if you get stuck in that mindset.

Symptoms don't mean anything so please try not to worry about them!
I'd say not many of them were even symptoms anyway being that early!

Thank you for the reassurance. I think the previous losses are making me hyper analyse everything much worse. Add in covid stresses and argh!

Found out at 3+2 so was going to be a loooooong pregnancy if all is well anyway 🙈
