I’m so fed up. I’m exhausted. I’ve started vomiting for no bloody reason and my 18 month old seems to have been on the rampage since her eyes opened this morning Hmm

Anyone else in the final hurdle and want to join me for a moan while to get through?

How you coping? What baby number is this? Talk to me pllllleeeeeaaaaseeeeee!!

@Ehhhh I'll join you! I've got 4 weeks to go... equally fed up. Just can't get comfortable and as soon as I eat I feel like i'm going to burst. Final scan on Wednesday.. my first was 8 days late which took forever, praying to not go over again!!

Youvegotafriendinme · 04/01/2021 12:31

I’ve got 5 weeks left as well and apart from not having had a full nights sleep for the last few weeks and getting really breathless, I’m not feeling too bad. This is my second and DS came at 35 weeks after 8 months of the worse pregnancy so this one feels like a walk in the park!

Do you know what your having? I’m having a girl

Ehhhh · 04/01/2021 12:33

Oh IronMummy I went 11 over with DC1 and it was awful. I’m having a ELCS this time so at least there is no worries about going overdue - however this has been replaced with a new fear of going early Confused

My bump is massive now and I’m just so uncomfortable. It’s amazing how quickly you forget how long these last few weeks take!!

Oh cross post yougotafriend I’m also having a girl. I’m glad you’re finding this pregnancy much easier, I had the easiest first pregnancy so this one has been a shock to the system! I didn’t realise how much ‘rest’ time I had when pregnant with DC1 but now I’ve got a toddler, rest is not allowed Grin

Have either of you started Mat Leave yet? Or when are you going?

I'm only 33+4, but have totally had enough! I feel enormous and the thought of baby getting even bigger is terrifying!
On the other hand, I still have a massive list of chores and DIY I wanted to get through before this baby comes, so it's good I still have some time!

sarahb083 · 04/01/2021 16:42

35+2 here and getting very uncomfortable. Baby is breech and I get cervix kicks all day, then terrible acid reflux at night! I've also got gestational diabetes so I can't even enjoy crap food to get me through. If she doesn't turn I'll have a ELCS at 39 weeks, so possibly less than 4 weeks to go!

Mochatatts · 04/01/2021 16:57

I'll be 35wks on Thursday, baby number 3 first girl.
Had been excited about getting Xmas and New year over and focusing on maternity leave and baby. But I'm so fed up and miserable. I've worked through this whole mess, haven't had a holiday since I started Oct 2019 due to OH being furloughed. I do all the driving, cleaning, washing, organising and planning and I've had enough. Can't be arsed anymore. Meh stupid covid means I can't even bugger off to stay with a friend for a few days for a break.

bubblesforlife · 04/01/2021 17:23

I am 36 weeks later this week.
Honestly, what can we do to speed up the process. I’m stating maternity leave this week and I’ve nothing to do. We’re ready for baby, lockdown is about to happen. I’m not sure I have the patience to wait 6 weeks for baby (if it goes up to 2 weeks over due).Sad
Other than that, feeling ok, bad PGP, but I’ve learned to manage it.

Oh I'm so glad I saw this thread. I am 35+3 and in so many ways so past being pregnant! I don't enjoy being pregnant at all and this one (No 4) was a surprise. Due to complications will only have 2 or 3 weeks before baby is here - eeekkk!

Am utterly fed up (so glad it's not just me!) but also nowhere near ready for baby to come. It's funny because I am not so stressed about the baby but I have no idea where the newborn clothes are etc and really need to get my arse in gear! Of course it would be much easier to achieve without the others underfoot! My eldest (7) said to me yesterday that I reply ought to have a bag packed - I told her she could do it for me Grin

I was working a 40 hour week on my feet for the whole day when pregnant the first time. I’ve never been so tired in my life! Along with absolutely every other pregnancy symptom going, I hated it! This time round apart from constant sickness for the first 12 weeks it’s been a breeze! I can deal with the lack of sleep because I can take a little nap during the day if I need to.

I was meant to start Mat leave the last week of January but working in retail, because of everything going on, I got an early start which was a relief.

My placenta has been low lying and thankfully it has moved so now I can go for a natural birth. Was looking forward to a home birth but that’s not an option anymore because of COVID. I’ve got midwife tomorrow so will speak to her if she knows about what the restrictions are for where I’m giving birth. But worried I’m going to have to do it alone if I’m honest

laura2109 · 05/01/2021 19:50

Hello all! I'm 32 weeks tomorrow, although most of you are slightly ahead of me, I can relate to a lot of things mentioned. I think the hardest for me is not being able to be as active as I was, I like to do things my way, others offer to help, bless them, but I just dislike feeling like a burden!
I feel so heavy, has mild spd and is just tired most of the time. I'm doing an online course at the moment, on some biology unit at the minute and it's a total drag!!!! I really want to get as much as possible done before baby comes though!!!

Oneandabean · 05/01/2021 23:18

I have 3 weeks left. Start mat leave on Saturday, can’t wait. Feeling huge now. Much bigger this time round then I was with my daughter at the end. I’ve been lucky with this pregnancy, but baby’s back to back and today the backache seemed to kick in massively.

Ehhhh · 06/01/2021 09:44

Morning everyone. Hope you’re all doing ok.

3 weeks left before Mat leave starts for me and I cannot wait. Along with sickness the pregnancy migraines seem to have returned Sad

I’ve got an appointment with the midwife today and then growth scans for the next 4 weeks so I’m focusing on seeing the baby to cheer myself up.

With the new lockdown how is everyone feeling? I’m going to be asking my midwife about how this changes with DH being at the birth/afterwards today but it really got me down when it was announced.

@Ehhhh had my 36 week scan today! Baby estimated to be measuring 6lb 5oz. All seems very real now but so lovely to see them again. Gives you a date to look forward to other than the due date too!
