I need help. I had unprotected sex in October 17/18 and (think) I got my period in October 21st. I then had unprotected sex a few days in early novemeber nov 1-4/5. I tested a few times and got negatives then finally tested positive on November 24th. The next day I went and my hcg was 167. On dec 1st I got an ultrasound and it was just a black sac with nothing in it. On December 20th the baby was measuring about 7 weeks 2 days but I was 8w4d according to my LMP. My question is the father guy 1 or guy 2.

Really hate to be so judgemental but seriously- why are you having unprotected sex, with two people. Please get sti tested as several can be passed on in childbirth.
They're close - dna when baby is born.
Use protection for the love of god.

Cheesybiscuits01 · 03/01/2021 23:48

A bit late for the lecture! If guessing I would say the second guy as long as your bleed was a proper peroid but the only way to know for sure is a DNA test.

TenThousandSpoons0 · 03/01/2021 23:57

Guy 2. If it was guy 1 you’d need to be around 10 weeks. Allowing for sperm to live maximum 7 days, the latest you could ovulate for it to be guy 1 is the 25th october, meaning you would be exactly 10 weeks on 20th December. You could give or take a couple of days for late implantation but that’s it. Scan measures would be +/- 1 week maximum. Has to be guy 2. Hope all goes ok for you.

Katielynn99 · 04/01/2021 00:15

I have been checked since.

I'd say whoever you had the latest sex with based on your dates. Hope that's what you're hoping for

Katielynn99 · 04/01/2021 00:19

Yes that is who I am hoping for!

partyatthepalace · 04/01/2021 00:21

Guy 2 very likely. But you will have to test to be sure.

SnooperTrooper12345 · 04/01/2021 17:10

If you had a period between the first guy and second guy, then the second guy.

SnooperTrooper12345 · 04/01/2021 17:11

According to your dates, I'd say guy 2 as well

lucymagoo · 04/01/2021 17:49

I agree, guy number 2 is most likely. Absolutely no need for the disgusting judgemental comment above. Hope it all works out for you x

Birchtree4 · 04/01/2021 18:11

Sounds like guy 2!

Ignore incredibly judgemental first poster, they are clearly infallible and above us all! 🧐

Good luck to you, hope things turn out well x

Birchtree4 · 04/01/2021 18:12

She also ironically sounds like someone who LOVES to be judgemental!

MiniMaxi · 04/01/2021 18:18

I would say guy 2 as well. Guy 1 was pretty close to the end of your cycle assuming it was on time.

Year2021 · 04/01/2021 18:20

Agree with PP, number 2. First poster needs to learn some manners.

jazzibelle · 04/01/2021 18:21

@princessjasmineofagrabah if you "hate to be judgemental" then why are you? It's none of your business who OP sleeps with, she can do whatever she likes. Everyone can do without the sanctimonious comments.

@Katielynn99 your dates might be wrong... even with a scan, just to make things more confusing. I measured 6+2 on my first early scan, but then my 8-week and 12-week brought me back nearer to what the dates are based off my LMP. It does sound more likely that's it's the second guy though, if your bleed on Oct 21st was a period (and not implantation, which it doesn't sound like it could have been based on your scan measurements), there's no way it could be guy number 1. You also would have most likely ovulated already when you slept together. Based on when you slept with guy number 2, that would put you bang in the middle of your cycle (if you have a 28-day cycle usually) and therefore highly likely to be ovulating. Of course, without having tested when you are ovulating, this is all just assumptions, but it looks highly likely it's guy 2.

Are you ok? Without knowing your situation, would guy 2 be p*ssed if he found out you slept with guy 1? and vice versa? You might want to explore a DNA test just to be certain.

wherewildthingsare · 04/01/2021 18:23

How would we know? Just do a dna test. I think you can now get in womb dna testing. Probably very expensive though.

notanothernamechange766 · 04/01/2021 18:27

Ignore the judgements. I would guess man number 2. But I wouldn't bet my house on it. Be honest with them both and dna test when born.

Good luck

@jazzibelle yes I am okay! I was honest with both men. I have been on and off for 4 years with man #2. Things didnt seem to be going well and i stepped out. I would love for it to be man # 2!! thank you so much for asking and helping me

@wherewildthingsare I am doing a noninvasive prenatal dna test where the take my blood and potential fathers mouth swab. Just wanted to see what people think. Its hard to even function with all this stress.

@Katielynn99 I hope it works out for you. This is an anxious time as it is, especially with Covid. I can't imagine how you must feel with this extra stress.

@GalaxyCookieCrumble

I have no words, get some contraception love.
You have no words and yet manage to point out rather uselessly for op to get contraception.
