So sorry to hear this. How are you feeling physically? I would call your midwife team tomorrow and ask their advice. Lots of pregnant women will have been through this by now so hopefully they will be able to support you.

Hi, OP - certainly no expert here but have done a bit of reading up on this (I'm 22 weeks and totally get why you'd be bricking it) and didn't want to read and run. From the research I've done on this it seems that any risk of more severe illness really only increases further on in pregnancy because of the extra strain on your system, and that it's very unlikely to cause problems even then. And that it doesn't really affect the baby at all, so please try not to worry!
I'd certainly say try to rest up and take care of yourself - which you should be doing as much as poss anyway - and defo contact your team for more advice as pp said Flowers

Im nearly 22 weeks and have tested positive for covid. I work in essential services with a busy footfall of people and its 2nd time ive contracted it while ive been pregnant. Of course concerned first time at around 8 weeks I rang the midwife and she really didnt have much to tell me bar the obvious. Rest, hydrate, eat well, continue taking your vitimins and if you. Dont be scared to take a few paracentomol or cold and flu tabs either. I had my 20 week scan on the 30th dec, everything was fine with baby and i feel her tapping away in there all the time. No research has suggested it effects unborn babies in any way but if you do feel any different like no movement for a while, really bad symptoms where your scared to manage at home anything at all that gives you doubt just ger yourself checked out.

Hey ladies, so just a little update. Spoke to my midwife this morning who has explained if I’ve tested positive I need to take Blood thinning injections as moving around is restricted and they don’t want me to get a clot. So they will be sending those home at some point today x
