Rocking chairs!

I'm currently trying to choose a rocking chair for nursing. Loving the idea of a comfy nursing chair that will convert to an armchair down the line, so have been interested in the Tutti Bambini Noah chair, but the back doesn't look very high. Does anyone have it/recommend it? Also looking at the Oscar version as it has a higher back but doesn't convert.

How much will I need/want to lean my head back against a high back while nursing? FTM so not too sure about this stuff!

Thanks 😊

I wish I'd had one while nursing and get one you can lean your head against as it will be more comfortable. (We never had space so I just did without. - there are often good second hand bargains on FB for those chairs.)

No real advice, but get a wide one! Long babies clunk their head and feet on the arms and it is not a restful experience..!

I like to lean back a bit, but prob wouldn't rest my head on something (too busy reading my phone usually....). So enough of a back but maybe not necessarily a headrest.

Yes to leaning your head back, esp at 2am. Agree about wide, low arm rests. No experience of the chairs you are looking at, my babies are grown up now!

I would have loved a rocking chair but DH was concerned about little fingers getting trapped once the baby was mobile. Looking back I don’t think I really missed it and it would have only been useful for the first few months.

I loved mine. I had a tutti Bambin one (can't remember the model) but it has a recline on it and a gliding footstool too. Used it with DD1 and DD2 and now the eldest uses it as her reading chair 😂

I'm so glad we have a chair in our daughter's room. She's now 2 and I still use it. It's just a normal wingback chair from IKEA that we already had. I lean my head on it frequently so I'd say that's really important. I second getting as wide as you can fit for longer or older babies.
