Does the Bugaboo Fox 2 carrycot lay flat on floor?

Hi all,

We have ordered a bugaboo fox 2 and wanted to know if the carrycot can be used off the pram on the floor.

From looking at the reviews it looks like the middle bar / pram connectors stop the carrycot from laying flat when placed on the floor. Not sure if this can be adjusted?

We already have a snuzpod for upstairs but it would have been ideal to use the fox 2 carrycot independently off the pram for day naps downstairs instead of buying a moses basket.

Can anyone advise?

Honestly, just buy a crib instead of a Moses basket one the crib is bigger than both Moses and carrycot plus baby would be more comfortable, John Lewis has them for 89 quid I think I paid!

We got a crib especially for downstairs, easier than a carrycot have to put it back and forth from the pram to the sitting area for naps

I did just as you’re planning and used the pram carrycot instead of a Moses basket for downstairs.

We didn’t find it a hassle moving it back to the car when we were heading out, which didn’t happen that often in the early days and especially now with Covid. It was also nice to not have to worry about storing a Moses basket on top of all the other equipment when the dc grew out of it.
