BFP after 2 BFN

Hi Ladies.
Just a quick question, has anyone ever had a BFP after 2 BFN?
Ive just got my BFP at 5+2 🥳
The first test i did was the day before AF was due, then 2 days late, both negative.
Then i had really bad back pain and tummyache so just assumed AF was on her way but at 6 days late still no sign so did another test this morning and got a BFP 🤗
Do i need to be worried about low HCG?
We has a Miscarriage a few months ago at 5+3 so im really nervous. Xx

Congrats and sorry for your previous loss! I too have had BFN, then 2 days later a BFP. It was closer to my AF date though- not 6 days later. Maybe you ovulated later, or implanted later?

Have you had other MC's, or just the 1? In some cases, your GP or EPU 'might' organise a viability scan at about 7-8weeks if you've had previous MC's. I assume each area has different guidance, and with covid, may not be an option at all, but worth asking.

I had many negatives the time I conceived. I didn’t get a bfp until about 9 weeks. I had pale ones for a couple of weeks before that but negative on the drs tests at that time! I just knew though as I was getting so many symptoms. I’m 20 weeks now.

There was a story here on mumsnet in November of a woman who didn’t get a positive test until she was 17 weeks! She had known she was pregnant but the dr said she couldn’t be. They go by tests - I found the same. But some women just don’t test positive until later on.

Thanks so much for your reply, i have had 1 MC, i will speak to my gp and see if i can get an early scan.
I was doink OPK and got my positive on 12th Dec so not really sure. Im quite new to all this. X

@LittleTiger007 Thanks for your reply, Congratulations on your BFP, im just over thinking it all beacuse of what happened last time. I had convinced myself i wasnt pregnant and my body was just tricking me into thinking i was. Ive not had as many symptoms as when i was pregnant before the MC. So it was a big shock x
