37 Weeks - Anterior Placenta & Breech

Hi Everyone.

My first post - been reading a lot of threads on here. I'm 37+3 with what they say is a chunky baby and an anterior placenta. Baby is breech so being booked in for c section in two weeks as won't turn! Just awaiting a date. I have been through labour before though for different circumstances.
Had continuous monitoring throughout this pregnancy as lost my daughter at 28 weeks last year so had the reassurance of in-depth scans every 4 weeks under a fetal medicine consultant. I have no other children.

I just wondered how all your movements are now if you have an anterior placenta? And how you're all feeling? I'm really nervous and worried about something going wrong now I'm so late on after what happened last time. It's exhausting. Trying to stay off Google! But really want this baby home safe. I must lie down a million times a day to try feel for baby (I lost my last baby due to lack of movement).

With an anterior, I don't generally feel loads (I did for a while but as baby got bigger, it's stopped somewhat) but I can often see my belly moving slightly even though I can't feel it. My last scan was just over a week ago so I know baby is generally okay in there and was active, and I felt nada, my placenta is huge! But I still worry that I'll miss something.

Hips are buggered, can't turn over in bed without wincing (head under ribs). Acid reflux like anything and now started snoring every night along with a million toilet trips. Joys!

They've recommended I don't labour naturally as too dangerous for me in breech, so I'm on pins if I go into labour early that I must get to hospital for an emergency section. Just wish the weeks would hurry up as I feel like a ticking timebomb.

I lost my last baby due to a potential reoccurring condition so it's positive nothing has been picked up on scans, but have the added worry I won't know baby is fully okay until here.

Oh I'm exhausted...

Sorry not really sure what I'm asking. More of a vent I suppose than anything! No one knows I'm pregnant as I've kept it very much a secret, which has been quite easy with everything due to COVID! But not really had anyone to talk to throughout...

Hey @Stanos21 I dont have any experience with what you've gone through and are going through but I just wanted to say trust that you're being monitored lots. If you have any doubts phone the doctors or midwives and get some reassurance. Good luck for the section.

Thank you @Elwynne - I think it's because there's no more scans left, it's just wait now for csection date. Almost feels like everything's now in my hands to ensure things stay okay! Thank you ❤️

Hi OP wishing you lots of good vibes for the last two weeks. Can you share with the midwife how you feel? Maybe they can get you an extra scan or bring the section forward slightly if it's safe?
