31/12 my hCG was 370. Since yesterday I’ve been experiencing period like cramps. Lower back pressure and a fullness feeling in my lower abdomen / pelvic region with twinges. I also feel hotter. I have no other symptoms other than this.

I had a chemical this time last year and had similar symptoms but when tested my hCG was 17. I’m just really scared as it took 12-months to get here again.

Any help is appreciated.

Happy Holidays!

I can't comment on the HCG levels as I've never known.
But all the symptoms sound completely normal for early on

Brobbles · 02/01/2021 16:45

Symptom spotting at this stage is almost meaningless as every symptom of pregnancy can be the same as symptoms of AF or even miscarriage, with the exception of significant or more serious pain.
HCG levels have quite a range of normal but that sounds good for where you are now. Are you booked to have them checked again in a few days?

Hi op... could it be trapped wind? Around weeks 4 to 5 I had very bad cramps I would be so uncomfortable... took me a few days to realise that it was trapped wind 🙈🙈

PurpleRayne89 · 02/01/2021 17:57

@Brobbles hey. So my first hCG test was 133 then 34 hours later 370 so ideal progression. Testing again Monday for peace of mind then a 6 weeks scan through my fertility clinic. Fingers crossed.

@BabyC21 haha I’ve been breaking wind a lot which isn’t fun. I ate and rested and the feeling has stopped. It comes and goes so isn’t there constantly. It’s weird because I had more symptoms last time which led to my MC. Idk, I just need reassurance that way I can just relax and enjoy being pregnant.

Yep weeks 4-5 were super windy for me. I’m 8 weeks now and still occasionally windy but it has subsided a lot. I found a walk and lots of water/fibre helped a lot.

I'm 4+3 today as well from a FET. I have the exact same cramps as you described and I've been worried because I bled at 4+3 with my chemical last cycle. My clinic won't do hcg so I'm going off line progression on FRER which is tough! I don't think we will ever relax! But I'm happy for you to message me if you are ever worried given we are the same dates and both post fertility treatment. I get what you are going through.

BabyC21 · 02/01/2021 18:27

Just to add... I’ve also had fertility treatment. I’m still on crinone and clexane... I wonder is it anything to do with the medication we have to take...

PurpleRayne89 · 02/01/2021 18:35

@BabyC21 I am on ProgyNova and Cyclogest at the moment. I’m sure the latter causes wind and cramping.

@Mseddy congratulations 🥳 it is scary because we have both had chemicals so it’s difficult to be 100% relaxed about things. I would definitely like to inbox you to keep in contact seeing as we are the same dates following FET’s.

I went to The Doctors Labatory in Harley Street London for a beta-hCG. My clinic didn’t offer me one only a 6-week scan. So I’ve paid £100 for two tests so far. I’ll do one more for peace of mind and then sit right for 2 weeks for my first scan which I’ll provide an update on both.
