Pains at 13 weeks

I am 13+2 and since late morning have had what I first thought were mild cramping pains and now feels more like it could be bladder related sort of pain (UTI?) or related to constipation / wind.

If it continues then I'm thinking of calling 111 this afternoon as I don't know if GP surgeries are open but it would be too late to get an appointment and I'm not sure if my local midwife team would be working?

I suppose it could also be stretching pain but for some reason it does feel like it is related to bladder or needing to poo though it is low down.

Any advice or reassurance would be appreciated!

I've had a if a good few hours now intermittently. It's not severe and not getting any worse so I'm hoping it is just growing pains and will pass.

Hi OP, I'd call 111, I had to wait 3 hours for a GP to call back from 111 today.

Lots of places have out of hours GP surgeries open, they might get you to do a urine test to check for infection. I'm 22 weeks and on my 7th UTI today so they just prescribed my antibiotics over the phone.

Hope you're better soon xx

Last week I had what felt like a constant cramp, mainly when standing up. And I only thought maybe it was a UTI because it was worse after peeing or when I needed to pee, but not always.
I phoned the GP the day after and they put me on antibiotics without testing urine as they would be closed for Christmas and it's stopped completely.
I was getting myself super worried!

Thanks. I called the out of hours midwife who was very nice and said to call 111 or out of hours gp if I'm worried it is a UTI but that it probably could wait til morning (given I said I am not taking paracetamol as I haven't needed to).

It is not ideal that they don't test Snooper as I would rather not take antibiotics unnecessarily but it would be a relief for the symptoms to go.

My main concern is for baby so I hope it is "just" a UTI or constipation

They would normally test but they were shut for 4 days over Christmas so my urine wouldn't have been tested if I'd have brought it in. Luckily it was that. Usually they'd take your sample and test it and contact you the next day (I presume)

UTIs can also be very dangerous in pregnancy so make sure it gets seen to just in case

I don't think it's a UTI as I haven't had any symptoms since last night.

I have had some bowel movements today so maybe it was constipation. I feel fine today.

I read a few posts about stretching and growing pains at 13 weeks so maybe it's that but I might call gp and midwife on Monday as I am worrier.
