Hi there
Second pregnancy and not normally an anxious person.
We've gone from a tier two area into tier four our cases are rocketing. Week and a half a go, around 86 per 100,000, currently over 300 per 100,000.
I'm consultant led due to my first being extra large and resulting in an emergency c section.
I have my sixteen week appointment on Monday at the midwife led unit, although I'm further along. I'm anxious as I'm reading alot of people are catching covid either in supermarkets or hospitals.
The hospital I will be having the baby at have declared a major incident and all appointments have been moved to the local children's centre. My friend went to her appointment tuesday and was asked to double mask, we've done so well as a family to avoid the virus with my husband still working full time. I'm not scared of covid, it's just pregnancy is exhausting enough without the thought of potentially picking this up too.
Is anyone else experiencing similar feelings? I fully expect Monday to be canceled, as they did that at the beginning of the first peak.
Tia
