35 weeks and had enough

I am currently 35 weeks and 6 days pregnant with baby number 2 and I've had enough.

A couple of weeks ago I went into MDAU for a bleed and they said there was no cause they can see and sent me away. I've been sent into MDAU as well for several things in this pregnancy such as raised blood pressure, persistent headaches and potential early labour and everytime they've made me feel I've wasted there time and shouldn't of gone.

Last night I went to the toilet and wiped and noticed some more blood in there and ever since I've had a lot of yellow discharge (never reallt experienced any discharged) This morning I woke up and I am nauseas, vomiting and I have diarrhoea. My head also really hurts and I feel hot and my tummy at the bottom and along my lower back is really uncomfortable.

I feel I can't do anything about it to help and whenever I'm asking them for help they seem to not bother or not have an answer. What can I do?

I'm sorry you've had such a tough time of it OP Flowers

I'd ring the midwife department again and ask to speak to a senior midwife if you don't get anywhere. You should never be made to feel like you're wasting time by getting checked out.

Please, please insist on being taken seriously.

I hope you don't think I'm trying to scare you, but in my last pregnancy I knew something wasn't right, I had all sorts of things going on.
Rang triage and they told me to take paracetamol and rest.

I insisted on being seen anyway and it turns out I had preeclampsia and delivered at 30 weeks.

Like I said, this isn't to scare you I just know how easily medical professionals often dismiss women's concerns and if I hadn't have made a fuss I dread to think what might have happened.

Also, at a minimum they should be monitoring your blood pressure if you've had a few high readings.

If you can, make a note of your BP readings too. It came in really useful for me when they were being dismissive.

Anything over 140/90 should be a cause for concern.

@Nia18 I rang them again today to be seen again and I was just told paracetamol and rest, but I've started showing signs of preeclampsia and I feel so so poorly. They said just wait until Monday and speak to your GP and she really wasn't helpful. I'm just terrified no one is listening to me and something is going to happen to my baby

Oh OP, they're letting you down. Are there any other hospitals nearby? If I were you I'd want a second opinion. Make a nuisance of yourself if you need to, thats what I did.

Would you be able to get to a pharmacy tomorrow and buy a blood pressure machine? I paid £20 for mine and it was well worth it.

@S1997 if you feel like something isn't right go to A&E or your maternity unit.
Don't let some random person on the phone tell you you are fine when you are not.
Don't worry about not being liked or bothering them or even sounding like a crazy person.
Go in. Insist on having tests done to get to the bottom of this.
Your symptoms don't sound normal...
And even if it's food poisoning, at least you can exclude serious issues.
Honestly just go in.

I agree with everyone else. Push to be seen!
With my first, I had bleeding, cramps and horrible back ache and they refused to see me or even listen. So I ended up telling them I'd had reduced movements.
Wasn't good to lie I know but didn't know what else to do.
They saw me straight away and turns out baby was actually in distress and they induced me instantly
