Hi all
Im 33 weeks tomorrow had a midwife appointment and my last one baby was head down, this one his head is by right rib back to right side of tummy and feet on left side of tummy, she said he should change position by 36 week scan, is this reason for concern? This is first pregnancy for me, what happens if he doesnt turn around by next scan? Sorry if its a silly question x

He could still move back to a head down position. My daughter never did though and so she was breech. If he stays in the breech position you might be offered a procedure to turn him (I declined due to risk associated with it) if not then you will be offered an elective c section

I had the same thing but baby didn't turn. I was offered a c-section or an ecv. I decided to try the ecv to turn the baby as I was petrified of having a section. This was successful and a normal birth followed. Apparently there are exercises you can try to encourage babies to turn but I don't know how true/successful they are. It might be something to ask your midwife though?
