5 weeks and nausea

I need to hear from people who have had pretty awful nausea from 4/5 weeks and not had twins. Getting my knickers in a twist about this. I didn't feel this sick, this early with my last pregnancy. Help!!

This is my first pregnancy and I've suffered with terrible nausea for weeks now. Im now 12 weeks but the nausea started at about week 6. Its really awful and for me week 7 was the WORST! I felt really really low with it too it was very intense I wanted to cry all the time. I noticed around week 9 it got abit better and now at week 12 its definitely eased alot compared to what it was. I have been told that by 14 weeks it should be gone, if not then 16 weeks. But I have improved massively since the really early days as I couldn't even get out of bed then. Hang in there it will get better!! X

Don't worry! My nausea started at 5w and it was so bad I had to go straight on medication otherwise I wouldn't have been able to work. Despite the meds, I still had to take 2 weeks off as I felt so awful. I only had one baby in there!

Unfortunately, I was extremely nauseous throughout the whole pregnancy so couldn't come off the pills.

I'm now on my second pregnancy and nausea is much more manageable, and just one baby this time too

Thank you, this helps me! I think I was feeling irrational last night and this morning, have calmed a bit now after a nap 😂. Luckily it's not totally debilitating at the moment, just so different to last time. I find if I eat regularly, like as in hourly (!!) It can be tamed. Just bought a pack of sugar free sweets to suck which seems to help too.

Nausea started at 4 weeks pretty much and was on antiemetics at 5 weeks, I’m 7 + 4 now and it’s still here- had my early scan yday and only one baby there! I was so paranoid it was twins!!!
