Worried about growth

Please help!! I registered very late with a midwives/hospital. From my dates I was 31 weeks when I went for first scan but by their measurements they said I was 29 weeks. They plotted babies weight and said I need growth scans so I went for my first growth scan today and going from their previous measurements from last scan I’m 33 weeks, with my dates I’d be 35. Anyway she says there is a drop in growth in growth scan and I’m worried sick. She said the fluid check they do was normal today but are concerned with growth!! I just have to go for another growth scan on the 18th to see what that’s like. Is it possible that everything’s just ‘off’ due to Late booking and babies going to be fine? I’m very worried now. Has this ever happened to anyone and everything been fine? I’m going to have to go to the 18th worried now. I am not eating well to be fair as I’ve had a lot of personal problems but now I think it’s all my fault 😢
I also had Covid 6 weeks ago which affected my eating and appetites
I'm going to be worried sick now

Sorry you’re having a rough time. Totally possible, even likely, that everything will be fine. It all sounds a bit confusing - definitely could just be because of late booking, it makes it hard to confirm exact dates. Are your periods regular and are you sure of when you conceived? A “dating” scan done in the third trimester is +/- 2 weeks so could fit anyway. And have you had two scans which show a drop in growth from one to the next, using the same estimated due date for both? I guess what counts is the growth between scans, a little more than whether the measures are exactly equal to what you thought were your dates. Baby’s wellbeing can also be checked by the fluid volume and doppler blood flow measurements, sounds like that is normal.
Happy to try help out more if you want to share details (eg numbers for LMP/EDD and scan measures)
