Boy or girl ultrasound 27 weeks

Do you think boy or girl? This is our 27 week ultrasound and I'm 90% sure I saw boy bits from this angle as I'm guessing its a potty shot. Sonographer was looking for the kidneys. Curious to see what others think.

Did they tell you that was a potty shot? It doesn’t look like one to me but I think sometimes scan pictures are a bit like optical illusions!

I’ve attached my potty shot picture from 26+4 if you want to compare, I’m having a girl.

Op. Do you want to know? Why did you not ask the sonographer? Or at your 20 week scan? What's made you change your mind about wanting to know? Are you SURE you don't want a surprise? You've lasted so long...

The sonographer didn't ask me if I wanted to know the sex or not so when she was looking for the kidneys I was positive this was a potty shot because the bigger masses look like the thighs to me.

We were going to have a surprise as we've already got a ds but now I'm convinced we're having another boy.

Have another scan booked for a few weeks time as we've had complications and am definitely considering finding out as I'm pretty certain it's a boy.

Just can't get it out of my head now so was curious to hear others thoughts.

Hi - this pic doesn’t show genitalia/thighs- imagine a slice taken directly across the abdomen at the level of the kidneys (sort of mid way between your lower ribs and hip bone). The three white dots you have circled are the bony parts of the spine, and the round blob behind the middle white dot is an ultrasound shadow type effect I think. The left kidney is in view- where the measurement has been done. It’s basically not possible to get a shot that shows both kidney and genitals in the same plane that way - so all is still a mystery! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy :)
