Morning lovelies!
Just signed up as tearing my hair out!
From the 26th of Dec to today (30th Dec - I know, not very long, I should be more patient!) Ive had a complete jumble of positive and negative tests, from a range of different tests (which have tested both pos and neg from the same brand!!)
I havent had a period since i gave birth 9 months ago so dont know when im due!
Oddly the positive tests have all been in the middle of the day and my morning wees have all been negative bar one!
I dont know what it could mean!? Surely if a test from one brand detects the hormone, surely the same brand should detect again!?
Ive dropped a sample off at doctors but tested the same wee as in the sample and it came up negative so not expecting the doctors to find anything different?
Help out a very stressed mumma! 🙈

Hey love, have you got positives and now getting negative?

Happened to me and was unfortunately a chemical. Managed to have 3 of them in a row and never got a fully strong line on
A test even though I turned a digital positive.
You may also just be too early. No chance it's accidentally a ovulation test ? I've done that haha and the middle of the day is always when I get a positive ovulation one x

Ive had a mix! Went positive, negative, positive, positive, negative, positive, then negative since...
Oh bless you im sorry to hear that! If its not too personal to ask, how soon after the positive tests did you bleed?
Haha definitely pregnancy but worth asking, my baby brain from my daughter is chronic 🤪

A positive is a positive. Congratulations you are pregnant

Stop doing tests, just wait and see. I've had 3 pregnancies and only ever done 1 test per pregnancy

Maccers19 · 01/01/2021 16:56

Youre right haha wish id had the self control before i did so many and panicked myself 🙈

If it was chemical/miscarriage, it wouldn't go negative that quick. It can take up to 4 weeks to be negative after a miscarriage ect.

I'd say a positive is a positive

You might be pregnant, not pregnant anymore, or you might even have a hormonal imbalance when your hcg is just hovering about the threshold. Try to measure your hcg levels via a blood test - ask for one from your gp or a private clinic.
