20 week scan nerves! So worried

Hey everyone,
I'm 20 weeks this week and my scan is next Friday.
Anyone else at this stage??
I can't help but feel so worried. I haven't felt baby move properly yet.
The 16 week app went fine and the heartbeat was found straight away.
I think I'm so worried because I know they check all the organs and development of the baby at the 20 weeks scan. I just want everything to be ok.
Is anyone else feeling the same? X

I felt more nervous for the 20 week scan than I did the 12 I think although also had a 16 week private scan to manage my nerves (had 5 miscarriages). It's totally normal. By 20 weeks you've started to tell People, may even have a bump and seen the baby several times so are fully emotionally invested. Be reassured though that most of the time if there was a problem they usually identify it at the 12 week scan x

Mines tomorrow and dreading bad news. Like everyone it’s been a horrid year and I think that’s hanging over it too .. top off 2020 😥 hoping too and further changes ( tier 4 now) announced today don’t effect it as this is first partner could come to as we hadn’t told any one before 12 week scan and Nipt to be able to have childcare ( outside )

@ivfbeenbusy I should of had a private scan at 16 weeks like you because I think it would of made me a feel allot better.
I had an 8 week scan before the 12 week and it really managed the anxiety.
Did everything go ok in your 20 week scan? X

All went well and very definitely a boy 😂🥰 slight hiccup as our 2 daughters cried too much for daddy to come in 😥 still not used to being left with anyone after this year of limited contact . But their needs came first and daddy just glad little man seems A Okay x
