So sorry to hear you're going through this OP Sad
I had a mc in Aug last year and a mmc in Feb this year, but conceived again in April, currently 38 weeks.
We didn't do anything differently this time, the only advice I would give (and it's a completely personal choice) is to make sure you're ready to definitely conceive again. For me personally I completely underestimated how much of a toll 2 miscarriages in 6 months took on my wellbeing and as a result my current pregnancy hasn't been the easiest ride anxiety wise.
I hope you're okay Flowers

Sorry to hear for your losses op Flowersi had a mc with my first pregnancy then had my son fine, then had another mc at 8 weeks, and now 16 weeks, just hoping everything is still going okay with this one, the only thing I did differently to ttc with my son is just relax more or the best I could, I do worry more with this one, and always thinking what if, hoping you get your little one your hoping for next time round Flowers

@Lottie917 thanks so much for a reply. Im new to netmums. I had a mmc 2 years ago when i went the 12 week scan and was devastated. Then about 3 weeks ago found out i was pg again, we tried for a month and i got obsessed with it the whole month. I booked an early scan for 7 weeks and went on sunday i had a gut feeling it would be like 2 weeks ago. Just an empty sac. Wnt EPU yday for scan and bloods. Back tomorrow.

@Fairywings123 so sorry for your losses. I hope this pregnany is a healthy one. I feel if i was to conceive again i would be a nervous wreck. I will try and relax a little more next time and not get obsessed with dates and all that. X

Emmav2020 · 29/12/2020 21:28

@Emmav2020 I am so sorry dear I know it's so hard. Just try and think of the fact that nothing is forever. This will pass and will be a memory of the past. Hopefully in the near future it will happen for both of you 🧚🏻‍♂️

Hi @Emmav2020 so sorry for your loss. I am currently going through my 2nd MMC, started spotting Christmas Eve, went in for scan on 27th was told there was no heartbeat, was given the medication and miscarried later that evening. I would love to hear any success stories after a mmc so I’d love to keep an eye on this thread!

Hope you’re ok @Emmav2020 💕

Hello, I hope you don't mind me joining. I just need some people to talk to.

So I had an mmc in May 2018, gave birth to my son May 2019, he's now 20 months old. I had another mmc July 2020 and have been ttc ever since. So I've been pregnant 3 times, each has happened relatively quickly but this time I'm 6 months on and no luck. I'm worrying if I'll manage to have another child or not.

The last 2 months I've used the Clear blue fertility monitor which helps know what's going on with my body. It turns out my ovulation varies by about 2 days.

I have 9 friends from NCT and 3 are pregnant with their second all due just after what would have been my due date. So I'm finding that really hard. I don't see 2 of them but 1 is my best friend so I see her and talk to her a lot. I hate that I should have been due first. My due date was next month. I really thought I'd be pregnant by now.

Anyway sorry for your losses and I hope we all get our positives soon, ones that stick. X

@Pancakes7 I can so relate to how you feel. My cousin is pregnant and one of my close friends too. I have had a MC last June and still trying. On top of that I am worried as I am 40 so the clock is ticking too. I just wished I had my second one already. Sending you a virtual hug, strength and lots of love x

So sorry you're going through that OP - it's really hard. I had a natural MC in Jan 2020 and a MMC (after seeing HB at 8 wks) in April 2020, detected at a 9wk scan. Medical management took about 4 days. I'm now 28wks into my 3rd PG. We'd been TTC for 3 years before PG no1 but after that managed to conceive pretty quickly each time after that almost like my body remembered it could do the whole fertility thing. Started getting EWCM again which I hadn't seen since my 20s! This PG has not been easy with the anxiety - was still ssssgrieving when got BFP but didn't want to wait due to my age. Didn't do anything different.
