When did you have your second babies?

Hey!

I'm currently 39+5 with my second.
When did everyone have their second babies? Did anyone go over or go over by much?

I'm happy to wait but I feel like I'm in some form of limbo land waiting for it to all kick off.

Anyone got any positive second time birth stories please feel free to share haha!

40+4 for my second.

I'd had her big brother at 38+5 and I carry huge so everyone though I'd go early again, even the midwife didn't think I'd make it to full term! By the end I'd have quite happily stabbed the next person who asked if I'd had any twinges yet.

However it was a much faster and much easier birth. My waters went at 4am ish. Got to maternity unit by 5ish, she was here by half 7 and we were home by lunch! I have wondered if the extra time in pregnancy let my body be more ready this time. If so it was worth it!

Also following this, natural labour at 38 weeks with no 1, wondering if no 2 will be earlier or not

40+6 after a sweep. Compared to 36+6 spontaneous labour with number 1. Number 3 was 39 weeks. Number 2 is still incredibly chilled and verges on lazy!

40 + 1 weeks

DC1-36 +1 18hrs
DC2 38 +1 5hours

On due date by 2 minutes
